This motel is run by a nice friendly couple. It is very clean and tidy though a little dated. The bed was comfortable. We stayed overnight before flying out of Brisbane to Britain and Europe. We also dined in the onsite restaurant which was very nice. We would certainly stay again if we needed accommodation the night before flying overseas.

Sono Japanese Restaurant Portside Wharf located in 39 Hercules St, Hamilton | Level 1, Building 7, Portside Wharf, Brisbane, Queensland 4007, Australia, we had a very pleasant meal at this restaurant. We thought it was definitely worth the money because we felt everything here was very in line with our taste. The sake here is delicious! The sashimi here is the best I have ever eaten! I didn&rsquo;t really like the spicy dishes but it was just a matter of my personal taste and not what the food itself was. The staff at this restaurant were very lovely and our experience was great. The cocktails were great too! This is the best restaurant I&rsquo;ve ever been to!

Enjoyable night!Second time for dinner, the muscles are to die for...... chicken was just as good! Topped off with an Italian glass of Pinot Gris....

Amazing mealsWe had dinner after the movies , so conveniently located to each other at Portside. We had booked for 8pm but arrived and 7.30pm and there were very accommodating and found us a table right away. The menu was really interesting , however the meal I chose was unavailable :-( but he substitute meal was absolutely delicious, so I will just have to return the try the other one :-) The waitress was very professional and friendly.A really lovely meal.

This Japanese cuisine is delicious, there are many snacks, and also make barbecue. The barbecue can see my mouth water. The meat looks very high. The noodles and the like are not too authentic, but after all, it is Oceania.

Sadly, this place is just not as good as it used to be. The food was overcooked and pizzas were burnt in places and dry. The service staff are quite abrupt and rude. This is the second time in a row that we&#39;ve experienced the exact same problems.

Came for a late lunch on Sunday and was really impressed with the food and the service. The young male waiter that served us was fabulous, attentive but not overbearing. Both our mains and desserts were high quality and the meals were served promptly. The first glass of wine ordered tasted off but it was quickly replaced with an apology and a check to ensure the new glass was satisfactory. Overall really happy. We&#39;ll be back

We stayed here after a mix up with collecting our car after a late airport arrival. There&#39;s a 24 hour desk with incredibly helpful and accommodating staff. It was after 1am when we turned up with no reservation and a clean room was found quickly and without fuss for the family. Yes, it might be dated but clean sheets and very helpful staff is what it&#39;s all about when it&#39;s well past midnight.

This hotel is alright for one night but I don&#39;t think I would stay much longer. The beds were hard, bit of noise from rooms next door and the d&eacute;cor was outdated. Good points though was the location was great and the price was right, I did not feel like I over paid. There was easy access in and out of the car park from the front or back of the property, plenty of parking, free continental breakfast which was quite good. There is also a strip of eateries nearby and this made getting a meal late at night nice and easy. I may not stay at this place again but I would stay in this area for sure.
